An endowed fund at CSUSB is a gift of money or property that is designated to a specific purpose by the donor, and is invested by the CSUSB Philanthropic Foundation. The resulting annual income from the investment is used to address both the designated purposes of each endowed fund as well as immediate needs at CSUSB, and is designed to keep the principal amount intact to preserve the endowment so that future generations of students are supported.
