Bequest from retired CSUSB marketing professor will help to support students at the university that

Dr. Victoria Seitz, retired professor and department chair at Cal State San Bernardino, is helping to transform tomorrow in the lives of students.

"I wouldn't have had such a transformative career myself if it wasn't for CSUSB...you want to give back." [...] "Our students, they're developing the Inland Empire."

Dr. Victoria Seitz spent more than 30 years of her career as a professor at CSUSB, including serving as chair of the Marketing department within the Jack H. Brown College of Business & Public Administration. Dr. Seitz was instrumental in developing the online MBA in Marketing and authored more than 50 research cited publications on a range of marketing topics, many of which she collaborated on with fellow CSUSB faculty members and students.

Dr. Seitz feels that CSUSB made a positive impact on her life, allowing her to enjoy a great career filled with many wonderful opportunities...the most important being the ability to make a difference in the lives of her students. She has decided to give back to the institution that made this impact in her life so that her impact on students can continue. Along with her regular annual giving, the faculty & staff giving campaign at CSUSB inspired Dr. Seitz to become a member of The John M. Pfau Legacy Society by creating a generous planned gift to the university through her estate plans. This gift will create a scholarship to provide support for students majoring in Marketing, Sports & Entertainment Marketing, International Business or Hospitality Management, who also demonstrate some level of community service involvement. Dr. Seitz is truly helping to transform tomorrow for the students of CSUSB.
